I really enjoyed the Chingay. In the past years I never watched Chingay on the television as I always thought that it is something very boring. But after this wonderful experience of going to the Chingay, I really found out that there are a lot of beautiful and nice floats. The other performances are great too. There are young child aged five and even the older generations performing which shows us that different people of different ages can work together and perform well together. It was also nice to see that people of different races and culture are performing in the same performances which shows how united Singapore is. Moreover, the Chingay also includes the Getai Singers which really shocked me. It was a nice experience hearing the singers singing in Hokkien. As I personally enjoys listening to Hokkien song, I really love that performance.
The smile on the performers face makes me enjoy the performance even more.
